| I
grew up in a small town with lots of peaceful
time and space outdoors and I still seek out
that kind of life. I have been making things
since I was a little girl, although formal art
training years ago has made a big difference
in the execution of my ideas. Sources of inspiration
come randomly from anywhere and everywhere: nature,
animals, the weather, people, headlines, emotions,
patterns, light-play, found objects… Each
painting is a part of my real life and when I
look at one it’s just like hearing a song
from the past. I see and feel a moment, a thought,
a dynamic, a particular experience or a greater
passage. I am still growing up in a small town
with the beloved time to wander around this beautiful
earth and I am still very happy making my art.
